新作坊 Humanity Innovation and Social Practice

國科會「人文創新與社會實踐計畫」執行推動至今己屆十年。過去十年來，各校實踐團隊逐步在實作過程中接力探索大學進入地方社會的途徑、大學與社區伙伴間的關係型態、計畫成果如何與社區共享、不同尺度的知識系統如何相互轉譯、如何平衡大學的知識發展與在地需求、以及如何針對不同地方社會的自然／社會環境及居民的文化型態開展行動等大學參與地方社會機制問題的解方。

Over the past decade, the National Science and Technology Council has engaged in the implementation and promotion of the "Humanity Innovation and Social Practice Coordination Project."During this period, participating universities have gradually developedmechanisms aimed at solving social and environmental problems faced by local communities of Taiwan, such as establishing effective communication channels between universities and the local communities, defining the relationship between universities and community partners, devising methods for sharing outcomes with the community, navigating between different knowledge systems, balancing the demand of the development of academic knowledge with community needs, and creating activities that are responsive to various natural, social, and cultural contexts.

特別是，近年來因為少子女／高齡化、疫情、氣候變遷等因素，地方社會發展出現了許多新的問題與挑戰。因此，如何在既有的行動基礎上強化地方社會自主回應發展議題的韌性，以應對未來挑戰，也成為大學社會實踐必須思考的議題。在此脈絡下，今年的新實踐國際研討會以「踐行韌性社會：臺日大學地方經驗的內省與交流」為主題，邀請臺日兩國有志於大學地方社會實踐的學術工作者相互分享與交流相關的研究經驗與成果，並尋求兩國未來進一步深化合作的可能性。

In particular, various factors such as an aging society, the impact of COVID-19, and shifting environmental conditions have presented the local society with numerous challenges. Consequently, this becomes a critical issue for universities to comprehend how to respond to current issues and reinforce the resilience of local society, ensuring its preparedness to meet future challenges. In this context, the theme of this year's international conference will be "Cultivating a Resilient Society: Reflective Exploration and Cross-Cultural Dialogue on University-Community Engagement Experiences between Taiwan and Japan." In conclusion, we aspire to invite scholars from Japan and Taiwan to share their research experience and outcomes of social practice, as well as to seek the possibility of future collaborations.
